As per Gazette Notification No. CG-DL-E-07042025-262329 dated 07 April 2025, issued by the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, the following Regional Rural Banks—Chaitanya Godavari Grameena Bank (CGGB), Andhra Pragathi Grameena Bank (APGB), Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank (APGVB), and Saptagiri Grameena Bank (SGB)—will be amalgamated into a single entity under the name Andhra Pradesh Grameena Bank, with effect from 01.05.2025.
